West Girls v's East Renfrewshire Boys
The girls had a most enjoyable game played in a very friendly manner and the result was a half match. The weather wasn't the best with torrential rain for about an hour but they still appeared to enjoy themselves. Thanks must go to the East Renfrewshire Club for allowing the girls to play against their boys.

West Girls v Cathkin Braes Ladies Sun 19th August
We were lucky to play this match after Saturday`s torrential rain. The course was open but had a few new water hazards! We played match greensomes and the older generation`s knowledge of the course and their experience enabled them to beat the younger generation by 2 matches to 1. Everyone enjoyed the game and it did not rain.
West Girls v Barassie Boys Sun 12th August
The format of this match was greensomes. The girls narrowly lost 2.5 to 1.5 with the last match going to the last putt on the last green. Hard luck girls but well played. Many thanks to Barassie boys for hosting this match and buying the girls their tea!
Well done to Connie Jaffrey and Hazel McGarrie who played in the 9 hole development medal and had very respectable scores followed by a well deserved snack of chips and cheese!
