Jean McCulloch Foursomes
The Jean McCulloch Foursomes were played in dry but windy conditions. We had nine girls taking part and they all appeared to enjoy their games. Rachael was very kind and played with two partners but it obviously did not put her off as she came out the winner with Natasha.
East v's West Girls Match
The annual match for the Mhairi McKay Trophy turned out to be a very eventful day. The match was being played at Murrayfield Golf Club in Edinburgh. There was a serious accident on the M8 resulting in the road being closed. This meant that most of the girls from the west had a very long journey spending many hours stuck in traffic. I would like to thank all the parents and girls who made the journey. Unfortunately Gillian Scanlon and Alyson McKechin were stuck in the traffic for more than 3 hours and had to return home without even arriving at Murrayfield Golf Club. The East Girls were very understanding and allowed us to play with the six girls who successfully arrived at the course. The result this year was in our favour winning 4 matches to 2 matches.
We would like to thank Murrayfield Golf Club for the courtesy of the course and their hospitality.

I hope this is clear enough but if you have any problems just let me know alysonhendry@hotmail.co.uk .
