Due to Child Protection procedures and to comply with “The Data Protection Act 1998. The West of Scotland Girls Golfing Association has been advised that parental and or player permission must be sought for any photographs which:

• Are used in a publication.

• Shown in a public place, e.g. Golf club noticeboards

• Are used on the SLGA website and links

Sporting websites and publications provide excellent opportunities to broadcast the achievements of individuals to the world and provide a showcase for the activities of young people.

We have been asked to seek permission for the taking of all photographs, as it is not always possible to predict which photographs may be used.
